WATCH: Mike Tyson scares off Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts at AEW Double or Nothing wrestling show

When it was declared that previous heavyweight winner Mike Tyson would be at the AEW Double or Nothing pay out-for each-look at, it was evident he’d do a small more than merely hand the TNT championship belt to the winner of the match involving Cody and Lance Archer. Although Tyson failed to unload any knockout punches as teased previously in the week, he did make his presence felt in lending an help to the eventual winner of the match.

Towards the finish of the bout, Arn Anderson and Jake Roberts — respectively seconding Cody and Archer — had been tossed from ringside immediately after Anderson interfered. Seconds later, Roberts tried to make his way back to the ring carrying his signature snake in a bag. That introduced Tyson out of the ringside seat the place he’d been sitting down with the championship belt.

Tyson walked to the entrance ramp and pulled his shirt off, halting Roberts in his tracks and producing “The Snake” to retreat. Thrown by the chaos at ringside, an Archer Blackout was countered by Cody into two clean up Cross Rhodes for the gain with Tyson on the lookout on and flexing.

Tyson presented Cody with the title belt, ending his short night without the need of acquiring to get his hands dirty. The danger of his legendary ability was adequate to get the work performed.
