SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) — Texas State mentor Danny Kaspar has resigned three months just after a previous player accused him of generating racist remarks.
Athletic director Larry Teis declared Tuesday that he is accepted Kaspar’s resignation and that assistant mentor Terrence Johnson will consider more than the plan for the future period.
In June, previous guard Jaylen Shead tweeted that Kaspar disparaged gamers with racist comments in procedures. The tweet was later on deleted. Shead transferred to Washington State previous yr.
Texas State released an investigation into the allegations. The university mentioned in a information launch Tuesday that it would not make any additional statements.
