MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The No. 1 Texas men’s swim program swept the opening round of events on the first working day of the Minnesota Invitational.

The Longhorns finished with the top rated two occasions in the two hundred-garden medley relay with two NCAA A-qualifying occasions. The Texas B squad edged out Texas A by .02 seconds on Wednesday night time. Cameron Auchinachie, Charles Scheinfeld, Zach Van Zandt and Drew Kibler received the relay with an NCAA-top time of 1:23.33.

Anthony Grimm, Caspar Corbeau, Alvin Jiang and Daniel Krueger finished with the NCAA’s next-swiftest time at 1:23.35 to complete next.

Texas claimed two top rated-3 finishes in the 800-garden freestyle relay. Kibler, Coby Carrozza, Peter Larson and Carson Foster recorded the top rated time of the working day and the Longhorns next NCAA-top time at six:10.14.

Auchinachie, Luke Hobson, Corbeau and David Johnston arrived in third-area with their time of six:eleven.72.

Working day two’s prelims are scheduled to get started at 10 a.m., in the 500 freestyle, two hundred IM, fifty freestyle and the four hundred medley relay.
