NHL playoff bracket 2020: Updated TV schedule, scores, results for the Stanley Cup playoffs
It can be formal. Sixteen groups are set to hit the ice between Toronto and Edmonton as the Stanley Cup playoffs start with first-round motion.

How do the NHL playoffs work?
The NHL held a “qualifying round” in each individual convention right before the formal get started of the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs.
