MK Kaushik, 1980 Olympic Gold Medallist And Former India Hockey Coach, Dies Of COVID-19

Former India hockey player and coach MK Kaushik on Saturday died following battling COVID-19 for the previous 3 weeks. He was 66 and survived by his son and wife. Kaushik, a member of the 1980 Moscow Olympics gold-medal-profitable Indian group, had examined beneficial for COVID-19 on April seventeen and was admitted to a nursing residence. Kaushik had coached each the senior men’s and women’s teams. “He was shifted to ventilator this morning but handed absent just now,” his son Ehsan told PTI.
