Luke Siegel, friend of former New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees, dies at 15
METAIRIE, La. — Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes and the New Orleans Saints are amid all those who have shared their condolences soon after Saints admirer Luke Siegel died Thursday at the age of 15.
Brees befriended Siegel and his loved ones in 2015 soon after Siegel suffered devastating head and upper body injuries in a golf cart crash. Siegel’s loved ones shared the news of his death on Facebook soon after saying he experienced been hospitalized “with bilateral infiltrates, regular with Covid pneumonia.”
“My heart is quite large these days soon after listening to of the passing of my pal Luke Siegel,” Brees posted on Instagram. “Luke encouraged us all in the way he fought to conquer a devastating brain injury. Mahomes also shared a concept on social media, saying “RIP Luke. The impression you designed in my lifestyle will never be forgotten!”
Above the years, Siegel and his loved ones were invited to go to Saints video games and procedures, in addition to standard visits and messages from Brees.
