Liverpool supervisor Jurgen Klopp has hit out at Gareth Southgate for not buying Joe Gomez for England’s recent Earth Cup qualifiers – especially following which includes John Stones despite actively playing no football this time for Manchester Town.  

‘Sometimes Gareth reacts if you are not actively playing for your club you cannot perform for the national team,’ Klopp instructed his Friday push meeting forward of his team’s trip to Watford in the Premier League.

‘Last yr taught us we will need at minimum 4 centre-backs but when they are all balanced, we get these issues.
