Ex-NHL enforcer Georges Laraque battling COVID-19
Previous NHL enforcer Georges Laraque declared Thursday that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
“I guess I am not invincible, just obtained diagnosed with Covid, considering that I am asthmatic, not the most effective information, will fight it off!” he wrote in French and English.
The Tweet also provided a image of Laraque, forty three, in the healthcare facility.

The veteran of 695 NHL games racked up 1,126 job penalty minutes although enjoying for four teams, most notably the Oilers. Drafted in the next round by Edmonton in 1995, he made his NHL debut two decades afterwards in a Struggle of Alberta matchup exactly where he dropped the gloves with the Flames’ Todd Simpson.
