Will Licon places sixth in 100 breast finals at Olympic Trials

OMAHA, Neb. — Previous University of Texas star Will Licon registered a sixth-area complete on Monday night in the finals of the one hundred-meter breaststroke at the U.S. Olympic Workforce Trials – Swimming. In addition, former Longhorn Townley Haas and UT junior Drew Kibler both equally skilled for the finals of the 200-meter freestyle.

The leading-two finishers in the person swimming events at the U.S. Olympic Trials receive places on the formal Workforce United states of america roster. Michael Andrew won the party in a time of 58.73, even though Andrew Wilson claimed his Olympic place with a 2nd-area complete (58.74).   • In the morning prelims of the 200-meter freestyle, four Longhorns skilled for the night semifinals. Previous Longhorn Sam Stewart placed twentieth (54.68), and sophomore Peter Larson registered a 40th-area displaying (fifty five.88). Incoming freshman Tim Connery completed forty seventh (56.twenty), and sophomore Ethan Tougher tied for 51st area (56.22).
