Seven Texas Swim & Dive Coaches Named CSCAA Top 100 Greatest Coach

AUSTIN, Texas – 7 University of Texas swim and dive coaches, previous and existing, had been chosen into the Higher education Swimming and Diving Coaches Association’s (CSCAA) 100 Best Higher education Swimming & Diving Coaches of the previous 100 several years.

Kris Kubik: A great affiliate head mentor who stood alongside Eddie Reese for 34 seasons (1979-81, 1986-2016, Kubik aided Texas seize twelve NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, such as four consecutive titles from 1988-1991, 3-straight championships from 2000-02 and back again-to-back again crowns in 2015 and 2016. Richard Quick:  Led Texas Women’s Swimming to five-straight NCAA crew titles from 1984-1988 in his 6-year stint on the Forty Acres. He also served as head mentor for the U.S. Olympic women’s swimming crew in 1988, 1996 and 2000 and was the team’s assistant mentor in 1984, 1992 and 2004.  

Eddie Reese: With 15 NCAA crew titles below his belt in forty three seasons at Texas, the most decorated and winningest mentor in NCAA heritage resides in Austin, Texas. In addition to the 15 national championships, the three-time CSCAA National Coach of the 12 months and eight-time NCAA Coach of the 12 months has led the Longhorns to twelve runner-up finishes, 33 top rated-3 finishes and 41 consecutive top rated-ten finishes at the NCAA Championships, as properly as forty two-straight Massive twelve titles.
