Didier Lamkel Ze has mentioned his ‘head was someplace else’ as he issued a grovelling apology to Royal Antwerp’s admirers immediately after he fought with safety employees at the training ground although putting on the shirt of bitter rivals Anderlecht.

The two incidents rapidly went viral and introduced the club into disrepute as the participant seemed to be mocking and disrespecting his businesses in a bid to force his exit.

But Lamkel Ze has considering that rowed back and presented an apology for his conduct prior to insisting he is ‘available’ for Antwerp ‘if the new mentor desires me’. 

‘I want to apologise to the club and to the Antwerp supporters, because they are superb and superb supporters, they have constantly supported me,’ he mentioned in a online video on social media.

‘I really, really want to apologise for this gesture. I do not forget neither my team-mates in the locker area or the technical employees who have supported me considering that my arrival in this article. 

‘I am available for the club if the new mentor desires me. I hope to find the supporters quite soon on the pitch.’

A transfer to Panathinaikos is of interest to Lamkel Ze because it would enable him to perform under former Antwerp supervisor Laszlo Boloni. 

He has put in two several years in Antwerp where he has scored eleven goals and additional nine assists.
