Colorado Springs, Colo. – The College or university Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of The united states (CSCAA) has chosen the University of Texas men’s and women’s swimming and diving groups for Scholar All-American honors. Texas was one of 461 colleges to obtain the award for the Spring semester. Groups were chosen on the basis of their Spring grade position averages and stand for seventeen,982 pupil-athletes.
CSCAA Govt Director Greg Earhart mentioned the attempts of Coach Carol Capitani and Coach Eddie Reese noting that “No crew was unaffected by this Spring’s pandemic but Athletic Director Del Conte and President Hartzell can and should be happy of their crew and the get the job done of Carol and Eddie.”
Supplemental institutional changes to grading devices resulted in GPAs nearly one-quarter letter grade better than previously. As a final result, the CSCAA will not be publishing crew GPAs. This Semester’s record also does not involve groups at institutions that switched completely to go/fail grading.
Person Scholar All-The united states alternatives will be introduced following week.
