Manchester City have submitted an official complaint just after a member of their coaching workers was allegedly spat on by a Liverpool admirer for the duration of Sunday’s two-two draw at Anfield.

The Premier League champions feel the unknown member of the backroom workers was focused as City workers and substitutes celebrated Phil Foden’s equaliser in the second fifty percent. 

According to Sky Sporting activities, City have caught the incident on just one of their cameras and an investigation is recognized to be ongoing.

Speaking to Sky Sporting activities just after the match, Pep Guardiola reported he was ‘pretty sure’ the incident transpired, but admitted he experienced not witnessed it straight.
