Indian Hockey Team Members Arrive In Odisha To Grand Welcome

The customers of the Indian Women’s and Men’s Hockey Teams were being given a grand welcome as they arrived in Odisha. The hockey players been given a rousing welcome on their arrival at the Bhubaneswar airport in which state Athletics and Youth Affairs Minister TK Behera and previous Indian Men’s Hockey captain Dilip Tirkkey were being existing to greet them. The players were being taken on two different buses to a resort in which they will loosen up for some time in advance of attending the state-amount felicitation programme to be attended by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

In accordance to the routine, the group will have lunch at the resort and then have an interaction with journalists in advance of leaving for the Kalinga Stadium.

The two the groups will have a image session with the Chief Minister at the Kalinga Stadium.

In the evening, the groups will leave for the Lok Seva Bhavan in which they will be felicitated by Patnaik. The groups are also scheduled to have supper with the chief minister at Kalinga Stadium.

The state cash was embellished to welcome the Olympic heroes with posters, banners and hoarding put up on each sides of the roadways in between the airport and their resort. They were being welcomed by blowing conch shells, garlands and tika.

In addition to, Odisha’s common and folk dance groups carried out on the highway to welcome the heroes.

The folks of Bhubaneswar, generally students, also gathered on the roadside to welcome the hockey heroes.

The Odisha governing administration is the formal sponsor of the Indian Hockey Teams considering that 2018. The men’s group received a medal at the Tokyo Olympics following a gap of 41 years.
