Former Giants OT Chad Wheeler arrested after alleged act of domestic violence

Chad Wheeler, previous Big and present Seahawk, has been accused of strangling his girlfriend till she missing consciousness.

NFL offensive lineman Chad Wheeler was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence. He’s been accused of assaulting his girlfriend and was held at King County Jail in Washington on Monday evening pending a $400,000 bail.

Wheeler, 27, formerly invested time with the Giants from 2017-19 and is now a member of the Seahawks.

The altercation allegedly occurred this past weekend. Evidently, Wheeler had asked for that his girlfriend bow to him, per the law enforcement report and as penned by Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. When Wheeler’s girlfriend did not carry out his request, he threw her onto a bed and strangled her till the target missing consciousness.

Wheeler was then reportedly surprised she hadn’t died, declaring “Wow you’re alive?” when she inevitably regained consciousness.

It was at that time when the target escaped to a bathroom and named the law enforcement to say she was being “killed.”

She reportedly claimed to law enforcement that she had endured a dislocated arm during the altercation. Wheeler also had not lately taken the medication he makes use of to address bipolar problem, per the report.

Ben Arthur of the Seattle Write-up-Intelligencer then noted Tuesday that Wheeler was out of jail on bond after the arrest.
