Longhorn Divers earn NCAA Qualifications on Day 2 of Zones

DALLAS, Texas – The Texas Divers continued their dominance on day two of the NCAA Zone D Championships at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium on the campus on SMU in Dallas.

Jordan Windle claimed his next title of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Tuesday afternoon as he picked up the win in the 1m level of competition on Tuesday, following a 3m win on Monday. Windle scored a 771.90, successful by virtually 50 factors.

Grayson Campbell, Jacob Cornish, Andrew Harness and Andrew Gawin-Parigini also all certified for the 2020 NCAA Championships by putting in the best nine. Campbell put fourth with a score of 711.10, when Cornish, Harness and Gawin-Parigini concluded sixth, seventh and ninth, respectively. Cornish scored a 635.75, Harness recorded a score of 633.twenty, and Gawin-Parigini scored a 603.eighty five.

On the women’s aspect, Alison Gibson picked up a victory in the 3m level of competition, scoring a 687.15 as a result of twelve dives. 13 whole divers certified for the women’s 3m out of Zone D.

Paola Pineda certified for NCAA Championships in the 3m with a sixth-spot score of 641.75, when Jordan Skilken and Morgan Menninger also certified with 10^th and 13^th spot finishes. Skilken scored a 586.10, when Menninger scored a 575.70.

Windle, Campbell, Cornish and Harness are now certified in the two the 1m and 3m on the men’s aspect, when Gibson, Pineda and Menninger are certified in the two on the women’s aspect.
